Date Difference, Date Diff & Comparison Calculator

Quick answer: choose two dates to compare their order and calculate signed, absolute, and inclusive calendar days.

Choose two dates.

How date comparison and day counts work

The comparison states whether the end date is later, earlier, or the same. The signed result is positive when the end is later and negative when it is earlier.

Inclusive count example: January 1 to January 3 has 2 elapsed days but 3 inclusive calendar days because both boundary dates are counted.

Calendar dates are converted through UTC date components so daylight-saving transitions do not change a whole-day count.

Are weekends excluded?

No. Every calendar day is counted.

Does the order matter?

Yes. Reversing the dates reverses the sign of the elapsed result.
